The inaugural Athletics Victoria Overage event was happening last Friday to Sunday, 14th to 16th of February 2025. This was an event for 40+ years old athletes. Makes you wonder who came up with this name, sounds more like an overripe fruit. The structure is similar to the Masters, but starting with the age of 40 years and grouped in 5 year steps.
Some of our Casey Masters are also members of South Coast Athletics and therefore were allowed to compete. They all had a good start for their first major competition this year.
